Role: Web Design, Redesign 2024
Laundrymen Productions is a small Brooklyn-based, independent production company that specializes in short films, music videos, documentaries, and all types of short form content. LM aimed to re-design their website before releasing a new slate of projects.
Details and results of our redesign are below
I had an initial conversation with LM to get an idea of their vision for the new site design and what elements where most important to the goal for presenting their work.
Next, I sent over a detailed proposal, laying out design solutions, key objectives, a cost overview and and estimated timeline for production.
After the proposal was signed, we had a quick kick-off meeting to share any new idea or inspirations and double down on our project goals and timeline
Using Figma, I designed, shared and revised 3 base wireframes for us to build off. Once we set a style, we finalized it with 2 more revisons and moved ahead into development in Webflow.
Using our wireframe, I developed the base design in Weblow. This iniital desing was exact to our wireframe from Figma and allowed a base to work off with a now live, fully functional visual.
Laundrymen Productions reviewd the intial design and provided me feedback with visual and fucntional changes to cater the site to the experience they wanted visitors to have with their content.
After rounds of revision, I handed the site over to LM for a final review before handoff for launch.
Once the final site was approved, we published the new site and held one last meeting for technical support on site management and updates.
